I have been asked by several fans when Book II, The Unkindness, will be available.
At present, I am over a third of the way through the manuscript, and editing has begun chapter by chapter.
I am still on target for February, but I am not ready to set a definitive release date. However, I will keep you updated as I progress.
As an indication, my editor started reading Chapter 1 and got so involved in the story that they forgot they were supposed to be editing. So I take that as a good sign that the story will suck you all in.
In the mean time, you can still get Lost Haven for .99 cents on Amazon Kindle. I am also preparing it for other devices now. And the price will be the same across all platforms. I will also be releasing The Case Study and The House of the Dead Timbers in these formats.
And if you have not read Waking Dream: Devlin, you can read the reviews on Amazon, hear and see interviews about it by selecting one from the Interview menu at the top. Take a chance and visit the town of Devlin. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Though Lost Haven was meant to be a stand alone story, it is really just Book 1.5 for the series, giving the reader some insight into the more esoteric aspect of the series, and sets up a completely separate plot line that I will explore in other interludes.
Again, thank you all for your support!
Have a wonderful New Year!
I am happy to announce that I am on schedule for releasing Waking Dream: The Unkindness Book II in the Transformation Trilogy.
This is the cover I have designed and I am feeling very good about it.
The Unkindness picks up where Devlin left off, only a few short weeks after the calamity on Halloween Night.
More information to come as we get closer to the release date, but the identity of the Immortal behind the insidious plot set in motion in Devlin will be revealed. And the world as we know it, will be forever changed.
Auber and the Dreamers of Devlin will gain new allies, and foes, as they rush to uncover the secrets of their nemesis, and trying desperately to arrest control of the Black Heart, before it is too late.
In the mean time, you can read my serial story, Lost Haven, which takes place between Book I and Book II.
And of course, Immortal Memories gives the fans a deeper insight into the lives of the Immortals you met in the first book.
The re-release of Waking Dream: Devlin Book I is on time and will be out on September 22nd! You can pre-order a signed copy today by visiting this link.
Immortal Memories: Volume I has been sent to the editor and includes 2 brand new stories, the expanded version of Place of the Sisters and Vacant Eyes on the Eternal Sea!
Now that all the editing is behind me, I am full force on Waking Dream: The Unkindness Book II. A dark plot will be revealed, and many new characters introduced. This will be a face paced, action-filled book with elements of horror, the paranormal and the supernatural.
I am tentatively expecting to release in the first quarter of 2014! And then I will be working on Waking Dream: The Black Heart Book III, ending the Transformation Series.
Also, mark your calendars for the week of Halloween when I will be interviewed on the Nationally Syndicated radio show The Book Report with Elaine Charles. It will be on air and available through iTunes Podcasts.
Thank you all for your continued support.
I just wanted to give you a status update on where we are with release of the books, and the progress of Book II The Unkindness — for those of you who had the opportunity to read the first edition of Devlin.
Tentatively, we will be releasing the illustrated version of Devlin in Late August or Early September. After that we will be releasing the illustrated version of Immoral Memories with an additional story and illustrations on Halloween. Soon after — assuming my creative streak continues — Book II The Unkindness will be ready for January of 2014.
The Unkindness is coming along much better than I expected and I guarantee, you will be shocked at the end of the book. New characters will be revealed, the identity of the immortal traitor will be revealed, and the world will be changed forever.
For those of you who haven’t had a chance to visit http://wayoftheweird.com you might want to take a chance to read the stories there. All of the additions to the Libellus Somnium are there, and I have been blogging the new stories of The Crier at Twilight on a weekly basis. (Sometimes daily because, well, you know how the voices in your head do sometimes)
I’m getting the final edits for Devlin next week, so we will be on our way to getting the book out to reviewers before the release. If you are a dark fantasy reviewer, blog or otherwise, and have a large following on twitter or your blog, feel free to contact me for an eBook version as soon as it becomes available.
The Weirdness is coming!
